You might want to check any white background on your screen and then compare it to the light in your room. If the screen looks too bright in comparison, you need to lower the brightness.

But if the screen seems greyish, you need to turn the brightness up.

If you tend to use the laptop mainly in the daytime or in natural sunlight, you should match the brightness with the intensity of the sun that your room receives.

Users who work at night usually keep the brightness relatively lower than those who work in the daytime. It all depends on the light in the room and the outside light.

You should keep changing the brightness of the screen during the day if you work throughout.

If you work at night, it is best to work with the Night Mode on. If you find it comfortable to eyes in the daytime, you can have the night mode on at that time.

But in the day, make sure you increase the brightness, so the warm colors are not too under-exposed to the eyes.

4. Text Size

This might seem obvious, but it is often overlooked. We recommend that you adjust the text size on your laptop based on how far you sit from it while you work.
